01 — The Platform
TRNKYLU connects individuals and independent professionals for home services — cleaning, gardening, maintenance, and more. The principle: you describe your needs, a verified provider accepts it, you confirm and pay online. The funds are secured via escrow until the end of the mission. TRNKYLU is not the employer of the providers. We provide the connection, booking, and payment tool. Each provider operates entirely independently.
Absolutely. A relative, a child, or a caregiver can make the booking and payment from their own device, on your behalf. The person booking does not need to be present during the intervention. The service is performed at the specified address, and the invoice is issued in the beneficiary's name.
Categories available at launch include:
- Cleaning — regular housekeeping, deep cleaning, end of lease.
- Gardening — mowing, pruning, green space maintenance.
- Maintenance — small jobs, DIY, furniture assembly.
All services are offered at a fixed price — no quotes, no negotiation, no unpleasant surprises. Other categories are added regularly. The TRNKYLU platform allows you to book at any time. However, for requests made late in the day or in the evening, the response times of the providers may be longer before the intervention is confirmed.
02 — Tax Advantage
Yes, depending on your situation. Certain countries — including Luxembourg — offer mechanisms to reduce your taxes on home service expenses, such as a deduction of up to €450 per month for eligible Luxembourg residents.
Similar benefits may exist under other regulations, depending on your country of residence and your personal situation. TRNKYLU automatically issues a certified electronic invoice after each mission. This invoice is designed to comply with applicable tax requirements, allowing you to benefit according to your situation.
03 — Payment & Price
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe (licensed in Europe, PCI-DSS certified). Funds are locked in escrow upon booking and released to the provider only after validation of the mission — or automatically 48 hours after the service date, if no dispute is raised. TRNKYLU does not store any banking information.
No. Any cash payment is strictly prohibited on TRNKYLU. Paying outside the platform deprives you of your legal invoice — and therefore of any tax advantages. This also exposes both parties to legal consequences.
The displayed price is the total price incl. VAT, with no hidden fees. It includes:
- The base price (excl. VAT) freely set by the provider.
- The TRNKYLU service commission (between 10 and 20% excl. VAT depending on the provider's status).
- The applicable VAT according to the provider's tax status.
The details are presented in the order summary before any payment.
04 — Missions & Disputes
Yes. Each provider passes a full KYB (Know Your Business) procedure before activation: identity verification, business permit, VAT number, and valid professional civil liability insurance. No undeclared individual can offer missions on TRNKYLU.
Yes. If you wish to work again with a provider you have already worked with, declare this re-engagement via the dedicated form on the platform. Any re-engagement outside the platform is prohibited by our General Terms and deprives you of the provided protections.
If the provider is more than 20 minutes late on site, the cancellation conditions of our GTC apply and no deduction is made. The same rule applies if you are not present at the agreed time. In all cases, funds remain locked in escrow as long as the mission is not validated. You are never charged for an unperformed service.
Before and after photos are the main protection for both parties in case of a dispute. You can formally object to this via the platform's messaging system. In the absence of photos, you waive this means of proof if a disagreement arises. The decision is entirely yours. The provider can never photograph your valuables, personal documents, or security systems.
